And, more pertinently, good-bye Quisty and Hollan. It is with no little amount of bitterness that I sweetly bid "adieu" to the Windy City tomorrow morning (early...my train from Deerfield is at 5:54 am. Alas). I have had a fabulous time with the kids (and their parents, very good family friends whom I adore) this weekend. The kids are now tucked in and I have said good-bye for an indeterminate amount of time...not sure whether or not they will be able to come visit me in England.
But that's what FaceTime is for, I suppose!
Tomorrow, I catch a train back to Michigan to meet Mum and Granna...and then, off to New Haven to see my love!
